CNWL NHS Health Charity’s Abseil Event Waiver.
Thank you for your interest in signing up to CNWL Charity London Abseil 2025, which is being organised by CNWL NHS Health Charity and is being run by Dolomite Training Ltd.
Please carefully read and understand CNWL NHS Health Charities following Terms and Conditions. These outline your responsibilities and the risks involved in participating in the Event. By accepting the T&C’s, you confirm that you understand the terms and agree to abide by them. If you have any questions or concerns about these Terms and Conditions, please don’t hesitate to contact us before the Event.
- 1. Assumption of Risk and Liability
1.1 I acknowledge and accept that participation in the Event is undertaken at my own risk.
1.2 I understand that CNWL NHS Health Charity (including its employees, and representatives) and Dolomite Training Ltd do not accept liability for any injury, illness, loss, or damage that may occur as a result of my participation, except where caused by negligence on the part of CNWL NHS Health Charity or Dolomite Training Ltd.
1.3 To the extent permitted by law, CNWL NHS Health Charity, Dolomite Training Ltd, their sponsors, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, death, illness, or injury resulting directly or indirectly from my participation in the Event.
- Role of Dolomite Training Ltd
2.1 I acknowledge that the Event is being operated by Dolomite Training Ltd, independently of CNWL NHS Health Charity.
2.2 I confirm that I am aware CNWL NHS Health Charity (including its agents, employees, and representatives) do not have any responsibility for the equipment, instruction and supervision, or any safety procedures by Dolomite Training Ltd.
2.3 I agree to comply with all safety guidelines, instructions, and protocols issued by Dolomite Training Ltd staff.
- Medical Health and Participant Responsibly
3.1 I confirm that I am 18 years or older on the date of the Event.
3.2 I am not aware of any medical condition, physical or mental, that would prevent me from safely participating in the Events.
3.3 I will seek medical advice from a general practitioner if I have any concerns about my physical or mental ability to participant. I will make known any concerns to CNWL NHS Health Charity prior to the event.
3.4 I understand that failure to disclose relevant medical information increases risk and is my sole responsibility.
3.5 I understand that Dolomite Training Ltd reserve the right to prevent me taking part in the event on the grounds of real or perceived risk to myself, staff, or other participants and I agree to accept their decision as final. In these circumstances I recognise that I will forfeit my deposit to take part in the event.
- Media and Photography Consent
4.1 I consent to being photographed or filed during the Eveny by CNWL NHS Health Charity, Dolomite Training Ltd, and the photographer.
4.2 I agree that photos and video can be used to promote future events and to promote CNWL NHS Health Charity’s work.
4.3 If I do not wish to appear in media materials, I will notify CNWL NHS Health Charity by email prior to the day of the event.
- Event Changes and Cancellations
5.1 I acknowledge that CNWL NHS Health Charity reserves the right to alter the Event date, location, or schedule due to unforeseen circumstances, including adverse weather or safety concerns.
5.2 If the Event is cancelled, my registration fee will be transferred onto a new date, or if this is not possible treated as a donation to CNWL NHS Health Charity.
- Registration Fee and Fundraising Commitment
6.1 I understand that the registration fee is non-refundable and must be paid to secure my participation in the Event.
6.2 I commit to raise a minimum sponsorship of £450 by 12 June 2025 for CNWL NHS Health Charity
- 7. Conduct During the Event
7.1 I agree to behave responsibly and respectfully towards other participants, event staff, and volunteers.
7.2 I will not participate in the Event under the influence of alcohol or drugs that may impair my ability to safely abseil.
- Personal Belongings
8.1 I acknowledge that I am responsible for my personal belonging during the Event.
8.2 CNWL NHS Health Charity accept no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
By agreeing to this waiver, I confirm that:
- I have read and understood all terms and conditions outlined above.
- I agree to participate in the Event at my own risk and accept that CNWL NHS Health Charity and Dolomite Training Ltd are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage, except in cases of proven negligence.
- I acknowledge Dolomite Training Ltd.'s independent role in operating the Event and agree to follow their instructions at all times.
