About CNWL NHS Health Charity
Here at CNWL NHS Health Charity, we support Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL), which provides community and mental health services to children, families, and adults across a third of London, Surrey, Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. CNWL is also one of the largest providers of children’s health services in the country. Our charity funds extras and enhancements - from creative programs and sensory equipment to calm spaces - that help improve the health and wellbeing of children, families, and adults in our community. Our projects ensure every patient and staff member has the care, treatment, and support they need to live well.
Why wear it bright?
Together, we want to show that a little brightness can make a big difference.
From recent projects we've funded in Harrow Child and Adolenscent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) we’ve seen how a bit of colour can transform a space. We funded a series of creative projects - including murals and graffiti workshops - to make the CAMHS feel less clinical and more welcoming. Young people re-imagined the space through their own eyes - bringing colour, creativity, and calm to the children and adolescents who use the service.
Wear It Bright brings the same spirit to schools. One day of colour, joy, and self-expression shows young people that their wellbeing matters, encouraging positivity, creativity, and connection in their everyday environment.
