What is the CAMHS Summer Step Challenge?
The CAMHS Summer Step Challenge is a friendly team challenge taking place throughout July. The aim is simple: get moving, enjoy some healthy competition and help your team clock up as many steps as possible over the month.
Whether you’re walking to work, taking the stairs, heading out at lunchtime or going for a weekend stroll, every step counts.
When is the challenge taking place?
The challenge runs throughout July. You can take part whenever suits you during the month and add your steps as you go.
.
Who can take part?
The challenge is for colleagues working across CAMHS services. Colleagues from across the wider organisation are also encouraged to support teams by donating and cheering them on.
Do I need to be a serious walker or runner?
Not at all. This challenge is for everyone. You can take part at your own pace, whether that means short walks, regular movement breaks, walking meetings or aiming for a bigger personal goal.
How are steps counted?
Your team’s total is made up of everyone’s individual steps during July. The more steps each person logs, the more your team can climb the leaderboard.
